Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship
For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." Romans 8:15
Are there areas of your life that the spirit of fear is keeping you from resting in the Father? All of our relationships are impacted by our image of God and who we are to Him. Even as believers we can have areas of our lives where we react to situations as orphans, anxious, independent and leaning on our own abilities. In this Life Group we will read this book and the Bible, and learn about our orphan attitudes and how to walk in sonship. How did Jesus walk in sonship, and submission while the Father prepared Him?
Join us and bring a friend, or your whole family. We will share a potluck meal before each meeting – at the father’s banquet table. Locations will alternate between the church community room and our home. Others are welcome to host too.
Learn how to throw your “orphan” attitude overboard and anchor your heart in God’s inheritance of blessings and prosperity.
